Wistow is a farming community that has grown up around its church and manor house in the small secluded valley cut by Bury Brook alongside the road between Ramsey and St. Ives. The Church is partly Norman and contains examples of 15th Century painted glass while the manor house dates from the early 17th Century. There are a number of timber-framed houses in this attractive village including the 16th and 17th Century Rooks Grove Farm, Porch House, Thatch Cottage and Lavender Cottage.

Have you thought about a street/close maintenance group? We have noticed some streets in Wistow are getting together with their neighbours to help maintain the surroundings of their property together with a brew. This could be, clearing brambles, sweeping paths, picking up rubbish etc.
If you would like to start composting HDC are continuing with their subsided home composters. Residents will pay £10 and the delivery costs directly to GetComposting.
Due to a new gas connection, Mill Road will be closed on 13th-14th May 2025 from a point 20m north east of junction with Kingston Way and closed for a further 30m north east.
