Fancy a Street maintenance group?
Have you thought about a street/close maintenance group? We have noticed some streets in Wistow are getting together with their neighbours to help maintain the surroundings of their property together with a brew. This could be, clearing brambles, sweeping paths, picking up rubbish etc.

Subsidised Home Composters
If you would like to start composting HDC are continuing with their subsided home composters. Residents will pay £10 and the delivery costs directly to GetComposting.

Road Closure – 13-14 May 2025
Due to a new gas connection, Mill Road will be closed on 13th-14th May 2025 from a point 20m north east of junction with Kingston Way and closed for a further 30m north east.

Calling all children of Wistow! Help us design a poster for social media
The majority of the dog walkers in the village are responsible and clean up after their dogs. Unfortunately, we have noticed an increase in bagged dog poo being left around the village and on footpaths.

VE Day – 80 years
8 May 1945 – Victory in Europe Day (VE DAY) – is a day etched in the memory of everyone who witnessed it. After nearly six years of war Germany officially surrendered on 7 May 1945 and the conflict was finally over. It will be 80 years since VE Day on 8th May 2025.
