Remembrance Signs
The Parish Council are pleased to confirm the additional sign of respect purchased thanks to the generosity of Wistow's residents.

Following on from our go fund me page, and the generosity received from Wistow residents, The Parish Council have been able to purchase new equipment for Wistow to show their sign of remembrance, not just on D-Day and Remembrance Sunday, but all year round.
Three new steel hanging brackets have been installed on the bus shelter. These have the cut outs of the tommy statue and a navy ship.
A slate dated plaque has been installed inside the bus shelter to show our respect for D-Day.
80 years of D-Day bunting will be provided to the Village Hall Committee for them to use at the Wistow Fest on 8th June 2024.
A D-Day Flag will be provided to the Church for them to fly on their mast. We are very grateful to the Church agreeing to fly and set up the same.
The Parish Council would also like to thank Cllr Simms and Cllr Harris for kindly purchasing 20 Lamppost signs for the 80th Anniversary of D-Day and for Remembrance Sunday.
The Parish Council have also purchased 3 new hanging baskets to join the new hanging brackets.
