Annual Village Maintenance Day Returns
Following the success of last year’s Annual Maintenance Day, we are pleased to announce that the event will be taking place again this year.

The main focus of the day will be sprucing up the churchyard on Parsonage Street, with volunteers helping to tidy, clean and carry out general maintenance to keep this important village space looking its best.
Date: 10th October 2026
Time: 10:00am – 12 noon
Meeting Point: Inside the Churchyard on Parsonage Street.
Depending on the number of volunteers who attend, we also hope to carry out general maintenance and cleaning in other areas around the village.
Everyone is welcome to come along and lend a hand, your help will be greatly appreciated.
If possible, please bring along any tools and equipment you may have that could be useful on the day, such as brushes, buckets, garden cutters, secateurs and other general cleaning or gardening tools. Every little bit helps, and having plenty of equipment available will allow us to get as much done as possible.
To thank all those who get involved, refreshments will be paid for by the Parish Council and will be provided by Wistow WI at the Village Hall.
So, please come along, and help us make a difference to our village once again.
