Wistow is a farming community that has grown up around its church and manor house in the small secluded valley cut by Bury Brook alongside the road between Ramsey and St. Ives. The Church is partly Norman and contains examples of 15th Century painted glass while the manor house dates from the early 17th Century. Wistow Parish Council was formed in 1928 and is currently made up of 7 elected or co-opted councillors who serve for a 4 year term and represent approximately 500 electors. The Council meets regularly on the second Tuesday of every month (except August & December). The meetings take place at Wistow Village Hall at 7:30pm.
We are asking residents to complete our Community Survey to help us set the Parish Council's budget and priorities for Autumn 2026. Your feedback will help us decide where to focus our time, resources, and investment over the coming year.
Wistow Parish Council is applying for grant funding to replace the multi-play equipment at the playing field and we would like to hear the views of local residents, parents, carers, and children.
