Please note the road through from Wistow Toll past the bridge at the junction of Manor Street/Bridge Street is inpassable. We have had several cars turning around but unfortunately a van has already gone through this morning causing a wave of water to go into the neighbouring properties. We appreciate a diversion can cause extra time on your journey but we kindly ask that an alternative route is taken to protect the most at risk houses.
Please also note that we have been notified of a potential burst pipe on Mill Road (as you enter from King’s Ripton)
All authorities have been notified and the Wistow Flood Group are working hard to help all those involved
