Wistow Flood Group
Wistow Community Flood Group is an established group with over 12 volunteers. Our members act in accordance with the Wistow Community Flood Plan (WCFP), which is reviewed annually and after each flooding incident to improve the Community response.
The WCFP outlines a programme of preventive measures, where warning notices should be positioned when flood waters are present, and ensures that villagers exposed to flood risk are kept safe.
The Wistow Community Flood Group works closely with the Parish Council and plays an active role in Huntingdonshire District Council and Cambridgeshire County Council sponsored events.
