Accounting Statements
As part of our commitment to openness, transparency, and accountability, the Parish Council publishes its annual Accounting Statements for each financial year.
The Accounting Statements provide a summary of the Council’s financial position, including its income, expenditure, balances, and reserves. They form part of the Council’s Annual Governance and Accountability Return (AGAR) and demonstrate how public funds have been managed throughout the year.
Publishing these statements enables residents to see how council tax (precept) and other income have been used to deliver local services, maintain community assets, and support projects within the parish. They also provide assurance that the Council’s finances are subject to internal and external audit in accordance with the requirements of the Local Audit and Accountability Act 2014.
We encourage all residents to view these documents as part of our ongoing commitment to maintaining high standards of financial governance and ensuring the Council remains open and transparent in all its financial affairs.
