Councillor Portfolio Responsibilities
Wistow Parish Council is made up of dedicated councillors who work on behalf of residents to help maintain and improve our village and local community. Each councillor brings their own experience, knowledge, and interests to the Council and plays an important role in representing the views and needs of local people.
To support the effective delivery of council services and projects, councillors take on specific portfolio responsibilities. These portfolios allow councillors to focus on particular areas of parish life, such as finance, planning, community engagement, environmental matters, village facilities, and local events. Working together, councillors provide leadership, oversight, and advocacy to help ensure that Wistow remains a vibrant, welcoming, and well-managed place to live.
